Bronwyn Rodden #15 Journey to Ink

Bongil Bongil #1 70cm x 90cm, Mixed media on canvas

Bongil Bongil is a nearby National Park in which are preserved some of the rare remaining coastal paperbark swamps. Many of these have been drained to create land for building, and swamps have gained an unfair reputation as dark, unhappy places. This is one of the most magical places I have seen and I wanted to celebrate this in this painting.
