Mikaela Castledine #347 If you don't

If you don't
produce the poem
your creative goose
is cooked
come cut it open
straight up the middle
and though the yard will be
strewn about with feathers
and gizzards that you’ll slither on
there will be nothing inside
that gold you were thinking was waiting
to be delivered
poems just stillborn starts
shell-less and bleeding out

  2. We could have a collection of poems about poems and the struggle to manage it daily!
