Lizz Murphy - Poem 235: How computers shape our feelings (12) - Motherboards

GRIEF

How horses point their rumps to the weather
How cancer can be confused with grief

How a motherboard is declared ‘dead on arrival’

Lizz Murphy - Poem 234: How computers shape our feelings (11) - Alone

ALONE

day after day
8 o'clock in the morning
to 2 - 3 o'clock in the night
I wake up and do the same
over and over again
I literally cannot stop
I turn on the computer
and touch the mouse and keyboard
the computer becomes my whole world
I simply never turn it off.
Everything revolves around the computer
it steals my whole time.
I have tried quitting
this is destroying my life
I need to get rid of this addiction

I'm just left alone by myself...

tl;dr: i am addicted to the high use of a computer,

and it's ruining my life.
