the light
it changes
everything

a tug ripples
across Sydney harbour
luminous coloured bottles
line up on a green shelf
a telegraph pole
cuts through a frame
of blurred whispering clouds
and an off-white sky

everything
it changes
the light

    my eye is focused
    on the green shelf
    how bottles are lined up
    above the rise and fall of water
    below a sense of sky
