Sarah Rice #1.2 Certain Letters Slip Away

Here is a piece I wrote earlier this evening on a surprisingly similar theme (as Susan Hawthorne's latest beautiful and touching post)



Certain letters slip away  

swaying their round hips                 OOO
and giving some lip                          PPP

or tail between legs                          QQQ
a chip on their shoulder                    jjjjjjj

leaving us only a punctuated            : ; - ,
silence                                                            .

punched out of the fabric                [       ]

of speech                                         “…..”
