Nada DeCat #12 - Mistakes

Some times wasted, but I would like the garland of spine to be smaller.

This is what I love about oil painting... just erase it right away cleanly if you don't like what you have done.  Especially because my white paint is mixed with safflower oil (slow drying, and doesn't yellow) and my medium I use is just walnut oil and little bit of turps. I also paint very light glazes...
so easy to erase all the marks if done right away and the bottom layer is completely dry.
Not much of life is like this.

  2. A Poem for Nada

I too wish that certain moments
be removed cleanly from my life
a layer here and a layer there
scraped clean with a sharp knife
    so fresh depictions might appear
like blues to classical or hip hop to jazz
although I suspect that the garland
around my spine would say otherwise

    ( Nada Nada)

    The lightest glaze finished me
    up all too soon
    the rag uplifted
    removed all trace of damage
    revirginated treading soft

    I breathed new life
    back
    into myself

    circular breathing
    simultaneous expulsion creation
    halo to the heart
    head to hand
    hand to mouth
