Thanks Myron, I can see how it could appear that, that is the case. I don't add or subtract elements to my reportage photographs. Creatively (for me) it is too easy. It is a bit like going fishing with dynamite.

Not at all Myron. Shoot me any questions I love being in a conversation about photography. Photographs always seem to ask more questions than they answer. Oh, the white newspaper shapes are on the bottom of a hotel pool that merges with the sea. The hotel and the pool were dirty and run down - but great location!
It draws the eye doesn't it? Those lines of the pool and then the double horizon of the infinity pool, the sea's natural one and the sky opening up as if it wanted to swallow the birds. I see two birds. I like the idea of them skipping the rundown hotel and town and heading out to sea...
I am probably wrong but those swallows look like they have been added to the picture.
