Scar
a pit
a tear
marks
most inside
this scar

lets me wonder about
my liver
scars
so I can breathe better
grow
the line of bite marks
inside my cheeks
something is wrong
with my bile
remembering the rip
of skin
a patch removed
as you held my hand

little bit by little bit
(at least they are little
bits), but they do
add up over time

lattice and stretch
