Susan Hawthorne #12 Mira Bai

the leaf doesn’t go back to the branch
Mira Bai (~1498)

we can’t undo the done
how to turn around a cyclone
how to unpollute the seas
(the grammars tell us that unpollute is a non-word)

in alchemy and magic life can be woven
and unwoven by Norns
the day spent in faery explodes
into an eternity

we unmilk the cow with technologies
fluoresce fish and old tomatoes
new corn is unprettied and all the same

this is how we undo the future stitch by stitch
