the night after full moon
she’s flat headed
veiled with cloud
the moon teases us
each night
in the build up
to fullness
then is gone
in a flash
the dark phase
of the moon
lasts forever
before you know it
she’s shining her light
in your face again
in your face again
I like this so much Susan. It's also reminded me that for quite a while I used the moon cycle for writing - thanks to a South Coast writer I met - and it really worked.
