this shirt

is someone's livelihood

the jeans, the thongs

each little factory

a horror all indoors

so out of the ash

a stick is most of the jungle remaining

power in lines runs elsewhere far off

and fences make a map

track's mud for going

for getting this far

mainly feet made it

someone's

trudge on

big ears

great horns

shake off those flies

eyes down

you'll know

the place

this earth of ours

is still spitting fire

more than four billion years

out of the oven

and yet to really cool
