Lizz Murphy - Poem 258: Train ix.

TRAIN

ix.

I remember the slate roofs clad in emerald moss
How fallen leaves were rain-pasted to the ground
How many inside-out umbrellas were caught in hedges
How loughs and skies shone platinum
How they danced all night
How they partied like there was no tomorrow
