The snake bites all day
the shark has pearly teeth
they hoop on their tails
they get wrapped up
walk around in darkness
feel for what is gone
it was there last week
nothing is there now
watch the little waves
lap up left and right
all rather shallow
the middle of a life
do you dream of crocodiles
I'll take that as a yes
