I’m
here
and soon sort meaning from it
no more wise than was
but here!
and picture it to tell
I’m like a garden grows its own way
out of the wilderness I know
the bucket brims
with more than I can tell
still try
here because the steps were taken
and here’s luck as well
this sun grew up among us
it was all forever
and never more than day
much love made me
I must acknowledge
sunshine stashed away
self-taught
as everything worth knowing is
I’ve had time soak in to me
time’s struck me down as well
doom is the already said
walks tall among we stalks to scythe
there’s going to be a year to die for
I’m rolling up my sleeves
spit palms and rub
like a blowie does
life has to have been portable
else how otherwise?
it’s after the knowledge there’s time beyond
you’ll come to see you’re here
if light falls to me
I’m touched
and sometimes even dream it
day out and about in me
music pours into the place
and what do you see there?
I’m here –
that’s first sun in my face
and have a little roll around
take myself off the leash
rub tum
and often tune the thing
there’s a lot of blade to this
else rank
one truly capable of happy
how’s that for ambition?
people ask me where that is
one wonders of course where they’re at themselves
all birds beginning with a song
all I can say is I’m here
Wonderfully meditative and wise, young Kit!
