follow
your heart
over hills
in asphodel
so wisp-like
isn’t it a fled thing?
with silver apples, gold
all we shades require
a last song
and we go to give
when we’re already gone
follow your heart –
no brainer
be among
counterweight for the soul
cruel metaphor mixer
all love’s attention
such as stuck
all the letting go
and luck
never lets off the leash
here’s where the gamblers come
they’re pursued
as if to let debt unacknowledged
lie snoozing with the dogs
follow the heart
you have enough time
time’s nowhere else
say the arrows are random
we’re the aged cask
how some sun struck
another stood
and here we are
at last
tunnel endlights
and yellow to
limb out edging
it’s curled up like smoke
at the end of the bed
fledgling –
bent on what?
it’s in your head
whose pants are those
and down around?
did a wind get in?
turns out the map was the treasure
true reading’s not interpretation
here’s will bent to
ages of reason
are by the by
the heart has his/hers too
how often heart’s hung out to dry
chows down on the internal organs
it’s the long way home
here all along
and some say truth to tell
isn’t breeze enough load to bear?
it’s music leads through the mountain
so darkness is only geology
passes by and by
over the ice wastes
through war
and follow someone else’s too
you roll and catch fire
they drag you out
but you want back in
it’s all the weather coming
we’ll always have where we were
I am collected off kilter
there is no other news
heart’s a skipping rope
it’s an un-curated show
no one could edit this swill
the thing felt
(you’d have to have been born here)
it’s blisswork
all bend to
follow your heart
you slut
be all excuses
never came home last night
trickle down thing
waste of a wheel
it’s sticky out and slippery with
how lovely it is to see you
this has to have been
how we were sung
otherwise no here
come awake
alive to
come to a stillness
light up
follow heart
do you follow me?
already it’s led you this far
