Kerri Shying R # 135 Silent Filibuster

Silent Filibuster

Haven’t said a word with lips and tongue since Thursday
to a person though

 the cat the dog
 have had a fairly strong

 of this thing

the tenderness of organs made
for ingress made for

breathing less
than speaking

do I transfer my loyalty
to paper

protest     fall silent
repine    pause

ponder mouthparts    have they
toughened up

boot fashion   anachronistic as
cornetto lyre    lute

played in weekly recitation
 social obligation of the ones

 they pay to
 help me

find the little door
 marked end.
