Bronwyn Rodden #21 Journey to Ink

Dúlra (nature in Irish) in Forest, pastel on paper left in forest overnight.

At this point I was searching for a way to further embed nature into my work. In this case I’ve used pastels to prepare a work around the Irish word for ‘nature’ and leave the forest to do the rest overnight. I’ve taken lessons in Irish in part to understand my heritage, but also as it is another disappearing language.
