time
I hear you
in a stranger’s song in the night
you don’t
sleep, nor do I
I taste you
in salt tears
the shock
and heat of chilli
as it subsides
my longing for
the next meal
I touch you
in a fold of skin
you smell
of earth
I see you
in a crack, in a shadow
A beautiful poem and meditation. Thank you, Sarah.
