Garbage Tree
— a flower made, garbage
a garbage flower.
Up, bag caught
in branches of a
tree
white flower—this discarded thing.
I fold pages, dry
skin, rub my neck
where the age has
settled in. Rings
beneath bark mark growth
in the tree.
To trade: one lilac
cloud for one child’s sandal.
