While the animals were sleeping
The sky grew dead, darkening
A sheet of sight, a way of being
This way and not another, keeping
The horizon straight, disappearing
And too late, one by one awaking
We grab what we had, screaming.

    Thanks Rob:) this is fabulous! And gives me all the impetus for the animals to awaken and the sky to grow deadlier - but to actually make a comeback on Project 366!
