Red Cone - Day 25 - Tides

it’s that beautiful milky

bluegreygreen that I love

the tumbled cool colour of seaglass

and some earrings

of cataracts both falling

and growing

and some vases

one in particular

which is holding a dead branch

which is holding a birds nest

on the bench next to a copper boat

                       and some banksias

of verdigris advancing like mould

and some rocks (chert maybe or some talc)

duckeggs soft and chalky

the steamy unscrubbed glass

at the bottom of the shower screen

against bluebathroom tiles

and some pumpkins
