#41 Kevin Brophy 'Two Hills'

Today we walked up one
of the two hills here
and looked across at
the other hill.

It had an eagle above it,
a row of rocks like a crown
at its top,
and below it there were
the vast plains of tussock grasses,
some good to ease the pain of teething,
Some good to give seeds for flour,
Some to give an oil for healing sores,
some good for baskets,
some kinds a sign of water near
and some good for the shafts of spears.

Today we stood at the top of that hill
and discovered
we had mobile reception.
