The road paddock
Tom is ploughing the road paddock
ready for wheat seed
..........the old blue tractor
is throwing up clouds of dust
along the back fence line
..........he turns one row
closer the plough lifts out of the soil
then drops it again
..........more dust
there are birds following the plough
searching for mice breaking cover
gritty image, the old blue tractor throwing up clouds of dust, can just about taste it
