Allison Morris #23 'Nature'

Down her back, unending waves
of burnished copper
skim over bright white skin,
like an orange fox running
over snow.

Blue-grey eyes,
a lake at dusk
touched by ripples of light
majestic and cold.

Beware the fox's teeth,
the slow cold embrace of snow,
and the lake,
in which the unwary
are sure to drown.
