Efi Hatzimanolis #253 sleepless old beauties

He for me
turning falling
hard.
It was bad.
I cried
from his slobbering my corpse.

Head long off grid
in the woods day and night.
People stopped looking for me.
Forgot where they left me.
Worms knew nothing of me, and
it was great. Can’t tell you.

Then another found me glinting
in leafless brambles undercover
of hoar frost.
This one must’ve thought all his Xmases, you know,
came at once.
Pitiless eyes like salted capers. Pizza face,
his own antidote to all of this.
Oh, kill me now,
before I kiss you back to your dead eyes, princeling.
