Timothy Edmond #11

On the ground crawling
we can see it all
every little dirt
granule every little
piece that makes
us up,
      shirt tails caught
on a chair,
      falling over to see
the ground
      the food we eat
piece by piece
      the pieces of
sleep we have
      the Faces playing
loud in our faces
to know every
thing is going to
fall apart
      you must know
you only need food
and water, like a horse,
and shelter to keep
your things
      and if you
have a place to
sleep it means
you can wake
up.
