Kristen de Kline # 152 for a long time

after the rain
that sun
slipped
behind clouds
I lost     words
killed   time

for a long time    I did not sleep

I drove 24/7, snapped
Polaroids:  red
dirt,  rear vision
two cups of black coffee
fault-lines
a window
of falling snow

on serviettes
I scribbled
poems,   spoke
with angels,
broken    hearted
poets     well into the night
we chattered      the lawless:
mathematics  and  madness
longing,   loving (not)
physics    and
poetry

I was supposed to make it
in time

...

for a long time
I lost     words

for a long time
I did not sleep
