Do you want to come with me today
in the old Toyota
on the broken track to Balgo
to pick up another old Toyota
to drive back
and find the car is missing
when we get there,
and then do you want to come
to the canyon
on an even more broken track
looking for the old Toyota
out at the big dam, way past
the cliffs with a cave
where a nun is said to have lived
for years,
and find when we get to
the big dam
under a sky of swirling eagles
that the old Toyota isn't there,
and then do you want to come
back with me to the town of Balgo
and drive out to a waterfall,
picking up some kids along the way
out for a walk in the desert,
to find when we get to the waterfall
that the old Toyota was there but
has gone now back to Balgo,
and do you want to come back to Balgo
with me then
and once we find
that old Toyota there,
do you want to drive it back
down the broken road to Mulan behind me?
It will break up your day.
