Mikaela Castledine #48 Predictive Poetry

Predictive text
wouldn't know a poem
if it stumbled
over one
which it has

changing up all my strungtogethers
adding apostrophes
where
(technically they should be but
where) I don't want them
preferring the options of double meanings

It aggressively refuses to recognise
my fabricatory words
suggests I use the same words over
decorates the page with little red lines
of admonishment

Auto correct
wouldn't know a poem
if it fucking fell over one
which it does
even as I type
despite often being
accidentally poetic
it has no sense of humor (sic)
and is American

voice recognition
is more like
a spoken word performer being heckled
by a dumb audience
I'm not sure I understand...
did you say...?

Automatic capitalisation
Wouldn't know
Subtlety
If
It
Hit
It
In
The
Face

  2. Thank you kind sirs! I am enjoying the discipline of writing every day - although I have a couple of very busy weeks coming up with art projects so may have to stockpile a few just in case. I am also enjoying reading everyone else work very much. xM

  3. I like the subject matter and the focus of it. A good poem to read out loud to an audience.
