softly
so softly
day goes on
light to the very edges
all the hours are in it now
hard to tell apart
there’s a little clock inside out
you have to sleep somewhere in this
kind of a cupboard
make your dark when it suits
never complete
little head from drinking
nights we would be large
but not now
dream the ship
to take us away
gently
from light to light
where we are
there never has been this book before
we’re writing it right now
Such a beautiful poem, "you have to sleep somewhere in this". Cheers.
