In this work I was experimenting with new materials in mixed media, this time ground cuttlefish 'bones' found on the beach. This is another attempt to embed a painting with real material relevant to it. The work now resides in Texas and I hope it is bringing some of the coast to the owner who may be missing it.

(Had to have fun with the idea of the unlucky number 13, sometimes a missing floor in a hotel, this is my solution).
