Snake #2

Cool soft sinew
circles of muscle
the catch of his tongue
the clasp of his nose
he flicks and pulls
time clicks slower
eyes reflect as drops of water

water drops of scales
the circle of his eye
flicks the clicks of time
reflects his clasp
the sinew of his tongue
the soft of his nose
cool catch slower

the water of his sinew
time is soft dropping
the catch his eye
the flick of his muscle
his circles are slower
reflection pulls
like the cool of his tongue.
