Mikaela Castledine #288 I have taken the sun

I have taken the sun into my bed
I feel him smeary on my skin
the pores opened their doors
and let him in

I feel him on my shoulders and all points north
and several swells
the nape  the curves of calf  the decolletage

In the dark he seeps
until the sheets are woven with him
heating up my sleep
tossed hot from my exhaling
let him run his rivulets together
all expending
across the fall of floor
and out towards the dawn
coalescing just in time
for his next conquest
