Béatrice Machet # 313 Burning Snow

# 313 Burning Snow

A smell of snow’s hovering over one’s memory.

A powerful wind blurs up one’s vision.

No need to look. Touching will do.

Feeling the pulse of streams will shake alive what’s drifting sad and painful.

One is ready for the white to come down and bite skins in a slow roll of burning

  1. It reminds me of the first downhill run of a new ski season... :)

  2. I'm inexperienced in the ways of snow but this is incredibly evocative, Beatrice

  3. thanks to you both! I'm heading to Chicago and I can tell you it's cold here!
