The at times utter seriousness
of children
ultimatum, showdown
no backdown, intractable lip
fixed death wound stare and then
from the icy brink it all swept from the board
in a blink, fudge, grin, grubbed smile and poof!
grudge done and gone, brushed like dandruff from
a shoulder, who could be buggered staying dirty long?
