Kerri Shying R - # 597 - I was lost to what the insects know

how does the bee take on a zinnia   all those
petals   like a mirror maze   is this the final
test for  pollinators   like the London A to Z
for cabs I spent a time surveilling   this one
all a blaze of yellow   for pistils   call it old eyes

I was lost  to what the insects know

a bumbling mammal   lumbering
on the earth again  crushing things
with every step   sucking down
the larder  just to keep the words
floating down the page
