KA Rees #41 - Rainbirds

Rainbirds

A tempest
against the pane,
rapping knuckles drip
down over the lip
of balcony.
Or,
the beaks of birds
tapping asynchronous,
pecking against glass.
Magpies
plump wings, notes
peeling rain beading
black and white.
