Robbie Coburn & Michele Seminara: Collaboration #5
Note (Robbie Coburn)
night enters
and arranges itself around perception.
you watch the sky
disappear with movement from your eyes.
an image embedded in the drowning of
silence,
you sleep here, since you exist in air
no pathway between shadow and a
stillness,
still irises amounting as a presence
emerges and takes
place amidst recollection.
though only the wind calls the seasons
into change.
you lay beside me in a moment beyond
this, my eyes trace
your body. you are a still figure in
the untouched dawn
beautiful in the entrapment of thought,
time dances along
your skin like sunlight.
Entrapment (Michele Seminara)
between shadow and dawn
I sleep—you watch
the sky. perception drowning
in recollection, my eyes
embedded in beyond.
irises dance amidst images,
my body a still pathway —
my untouched figure silenced
by the entrapment of your thought.
These are beautiful poems. I've been enjoying your collaborative posts Michele and Robbie
