Rob Schackne #118 - "I shall not care"

“I Shall Not Care”

I shall not care
there are no poems
in gas stations, or
birds take things
or my sight is failing
no, the magician
isn’t even missed
I close the book
of you, of photos
of what we did
of that tenderness
most is forgotten.

    1. Ha. Present continuous
The -ing form of the adjective
I swore I'd sear it too

  2. Sad. I shall not care - interesting idea for a list poem indeed.
