Anna Couani #138 for SSVW

painted woodcut block

Morpheus with his colourless
blue eyes
leads his men back
to a time when they could
have fantasies
of being real men
not red-faced
but with a mission
saying
these men
are mine

  3. Oh I love this poem and image, Anna. I like how he is green, reminds me of The Green Man. And on his head are they horns, hair, a veil, a cap? It is just wonderful.
