Chrysogonus' Translation #57 - from Susan Hawthorne's "wind"

angin

angin indah terperangkap
dalam mulut tengkorak
mereka menggigil dan bulir
keringat jatuh bagai hujan
angin prana
tanpa derita untuk mendarat
pikiran hanya lagu liar

membuncah melalui rerumputan

beautiful wind trapped
in the mouths of skulls
they shiver and beads
of sweat fall like rain
the wind of prana
not a plague to stump
thought but wild song
bursting through the scrub
