just a moment

I'm planning to live

more and more

in the moment

it points each way

and it is fully decked

with sunslink

and piano keys

it's strung

and sprung

for paint

every one of them's of glory

it's the where-I-want-to-be

a quick whip round

in the moment

reveals all the stuff

that's there is mine

not that I cooked

much of it up

or have charge of

but creature of it

here I am

it's as if I supervise

all that's known is of this

less than a breath

no dot on a line

was ever so small

atoms are mighty

next to this mob

tick tock

that was Jesus and Kali

fifteen billion years wink under

in a moment

that's when I'll be with you

that lonely aum

goes on forever

thought will not complete itself

but here's the DNA

just one note implies the tune

I'm sure the moment is expanding

is bigger going out than in

but blink the whole thing's gone

the big shebang of now I'll call it

it's a carnival – all-in

every friend and cousin for distance

those books I'll never have read

and the far dark airless

from which we must

imagine we're watched
