John Bennett #20 Fishing,Tues 16

A kaleidoscope of tiny fish lap the dance floor
a monochrome mosaic in glass, a boogie woogie
flirting with mangroves, glittering in the break.

Beyond, lie sand islands lazing in calm marine blues
and aquamarine, but behind the mouth, a supermoon
has yanked the sea, waves crack on the painted rocks
and dive onto the promenade catching me.

  1. Thanks - I am using 365+1 blog for this month to write a poem - or 2- with images taken at the same time - and post them in an hour or so - a fresh way of working.
