blue dilly dilly
when I am queen
you will be king, whorl
catch the air to dance swirl
grey tendrils soft spikes ladies’ scent
you tremble with bees heavy with pollen
dozy ripple of purple august and true mauve hue
dart of petal bowed ancient mint lavender I told me so
