Stuart Rawlinson #38 - Waterways

Churned like butter
the ether thickens
as the brush fills up

with tree sticks
twigs never belonged
to any tree here

as the clouds
start to cover
weighing heavily
defying gravity

moisture, condensing
on stiff tongues
miasma forms

enters and blots
used paper
words collect

tributaries of sentences

gorge
fast
and flow out
to sea
