  2. Hi Jeltje. These moving little poems show good empathy. I believe they are senryu rather than haiku.

    I don't think they are haiku as they are not about nature, they do not use sense images and they do jnot capture one moment.

  3. Yes, all haiku have to have something about nature in at least one of the lines. If it doesn't have nature in it, it is a senryu. The focus of your two poems is on human nature so they are both senryu.
