cows are at the centre of some worlds

take Brhaspati who claims to be the first born of all the gods

he has a herd of shining speckled cows

a well-dug well and stones are milked

honey oozes from the earth

Brhaspati is born from heaven's light

his seven faces beaming seven rays

with his bellow he blows apart night

he keeps his herd of cows in a cave

drives them up to the air

bellowing all the while with the echo

of a song of praise sung by the following throng

but the first-born god has forgotten

that darkness and caves come before light

that the source is the yoni that brings him to illumination
