Lucy Alexander #30 - Paths

the rain is friend to paths
kissing them with feeling
pelting them with love
finding them through all
the downhill relationships
that end in dams
the hubris and debris
of water’s courses
so much gravity
pulling with tiny hands
to the magnet of

the pool.
