a bed without pain
waking to fall back in
to sleep
cool sea foam slapping legs
the brush stroke
through my hair
fingers untangling a knot
walking in a story
again, finding its known
ways, then a corner I’ve
forgotten or never seen
before, moods
of the moon, the milky way
sinking below the surface
sun on water
