feels like I haven't
done this for awhile
but do it every day
nervous or resigned
similar feelings
best when it's a blank wait
years ago I put a limit on it
twenty minutes
though I've waited for hours
once in a park with statues
and a bamboo forest
for many hours in a concert
of rearranged cushions
sitting cross legged
waiting for the sitar
left for the long walk home
anticipating tomorrow's long walk
then recently at broken stop lights
resisting texting to explain
my lateness of a minute
waiting should have no name
